Mobilitie was been chosen by Chicago-based real estate company, HEARN, to provide connectivity to 70 West Madison, a downtown Chicago high-rise that sees 5,000 daily tenants and visitors representing many of Chicago’s legal and financial firms.
HEARN selected Mobilitie to design, build and operate a DAS covering 1,450,000 square-feet in the 57-story property. Mobilitie’s DAS has more than 37,500 feet of coaxial cable that was used to connect across the building’s 57 stories.
“When we acquired 70 West Madison in late 2014 and looked to reposition the property, we knew that mobile connectivity would be a high priority,” said Steve Hearn, principal of HEARN.
